Job Description

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 p.a.Hours of work: Full time, Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, 50/50 Hybrid WorkingCompany benefits: Company pension, private healthcare, quarterly bonus, business closure between Christmas and New Year.Kameo Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a fast-growing scientific company based in Histon, Cambridge to recruit a creative, out-the-box thinking, Digital Content Assistant.If you are an experienced administrator with a background in publishing or similar, with a keen passion for digital content and IT, our client would be eager to speak with you!Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Resolving content delivery and display errors across all journals
  • Working with file providers and publishing platform partners to provide quality assurance as well as coordinating projects to convert legacy content to full-text HTML.
  • Provide essential support for the production team by ensuring that journal content and XML tagging meets the appropriate standards required for publication General office administrative duties
Requirements for this role
  • Minimum of a degree or equivalent qualification
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and XML is preferred
  • Previous technical support experience and experience with Jira would be an advantage
  • Have enthusiasm, judgement and integrity, and the willingness and ability to take initiative.
  • A confident and approachable professional who is happy to muck in and be flexible
  • Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
