Job Description

Trainee Recruitment Consultant Shift Patterns: DaysPAYE Rate: Competitive Depending on ExperienceHours: 8am - 6pmAre you looking for a change in your careerDo you have experience of working within a sales, hospitality or customer facing roleThen read on as we are looking for outgoing and confident individuals, who understand a customers needs and requirements and isnt fearful of working hard and can think on their feet to solve problems that may arise.Igloo are an established employment business and have been providing staffing solutions to the Automotive, Transport and Logistics sectors for over 15 years, building a fantastic reputation within the industry.The Role:Within the role of a trainee recruitment consultant you will be trained on our systems and our recruitment processes and will receive on the job training as you build your skills and progress to up the career ladder to a senior recruitment consultant.Some of the duties you can expect you undertake within the role:

  • Calling through candidates who have applied for roles and assessing their skill set to the role and finding out key details from them.
  • Interviewing candidates, over the phone mainly but when it is safe to do so you will be expected to undertake interviews in person as well.
  • Fully registering candidates to meet compliance requirements prior to candidates being placed.
  • Reference checking.
  • Liaising with customers, providing updates and discussing further requirements with them.
  • Searching for candidates using different methods and platforms.
  • Updating Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and our in house computer systems.
    • What kind of person we are looking for:
  • Experience of working in a customer facing role.
  • You will demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent IT skills and confident of working with Microsoft Office and in house computer systems.
  • Hard working and reliable.
