Teaching Personnel are currently looking for multiple SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a SEN school in Hinckley. There are currently multiple roles within the school available working with children between the ages of 8-19.The roles available will be Full-Time Monday - Friday 8.30 - 15.45 and wqill start in the new academic year. However, if you are only looking for part time we would still like to hear from you as hours may be accomodated for the right candidate.Within this role you will be either supporting a small class or support a a child on a 1:1 basiis. The school is predominantly supporting children with Autism but some children may have co-existing conditons like ADHD. To use a collaborative and multi-agency holistic approach to delivering an education provision whichincludes attention to health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people.Accountabilities:Act in accordance with the organisations guidelines under the guidance of the designated Provision Manager and adhere to the organisations Equal Opportunities and Diversity policy.Being an advocate on behalf of your students in your class, whilst encouraging their involvement and engagement within the seassion in the classroom. In addition, assisting the class teacher with the assessment, preparation, delivery and review of a learnerscurriculum including contributions to lesson plans.Be aware ofALLsafeguarding procedures on a day to day basis, and adhering to these at all times.Be responsible for all aspects of learner health and safety, informing the designated Learning Manager of any accidents or identified risks, and using the significant incident reporting form appropriately. Support the Learning Manager to ensure venues usedare appropriate and risk assessed, and that Health and Safety guidance supplied by the company is adhered to.To adhere to the appropriate plans that are set out for the children within the class, and to be aware of any SEN needs of he children that youd be supporting.
