Job Description

Are you looking for a role which allows you to assist in partnering with the management team for financeDo you have experience working with management accountsMacildowie Finance are working on a brilliant opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the finance team of a fantastic logistics business. This position is on a permanent basis based at their Hinckley site.This role is offering a salary of between £32,000 to £35,000 per annum.Some of the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Support budgeting and forecasting process
  • Helping assemble weekly flash reports and providing feedback detail on business performance
  • Assist in partnering support to operations helping with weekly P&L preparation
  • Assist with timely and accurate month end close as well as providing meaningful variance analysis of results and commentary against budget / forecast
  • Populate weekly billing files and review thoroughly. Understand the customer, volumes and costs
  • Working with the finance team to ensure all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled and signed off monthly and support risk is mitigated
You will be/have...
  • 2 years or more experience working in a similar finance role
  • Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ at least AAT qualified
  • Able to work efficiently within a team environment
  • Experience in interacting with a variety of stakeholders, including finance & non-finance
