Speech & Language Therapist Sedgemoor Manor Schoolis recruiting for a Speech and LanguageTherapist to join our Therapy team now! We are looking for enthusiastic, caring, and passionate people to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successfulcandidate will join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment or newly qualified, who will be required to work closely with other Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals providing supportto students; reporting to the Therapy Manager. Sedgemoor Manor is a specialist day school for young people who have needs associated with a diagnosis on the autistic spectrum/SPLD and are aged between 10 and 18 years. Our tailored approach means weare able to support young people with a wide range of learning difficulties. The successful candidate will be registered and will hold BSc Occupational Therapy or profession specific equivalent qualification, along with the following characteristics: Resilience Wesupport some of the most vulnerable children in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged. Communication Communicating with ouryoung people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
