* Office based role in Heywood - onsite parking* Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5pm (40 hours pw)* Salary £24,500 - £28,000, benefits include staff discountsMy client is currently looking to recruit an experienced and hands on Purchase Ledger Controller to join their Finance team based in Heywood. You will be joining a small and fast paced Finance team so you must have previous experience of managing Purchase Ledger duties from start to finish Duties and responsibilities will include;* Process and record invoices* Accurately process payments within agreed payment terms* Reconcile and process expenses* Maintain the purchase ledger system and ensure all transactions are properly documented* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues* Prepare and process payment runs, including cheques, bank transfers, and electronic payments* Assist with Month End closing activities and provide support for financial audits* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any invoice or payment related queries* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation* Assist with other accounting tasks as assignedYou must have proven Purchase Ledger experience, ideally managing the end to end ledger process, as you will be required to hit the ground running as much as possible You must have a flexible working attitude to be able to assist in other areas of Finance as required, if relevant Interviews are being held asap - please send your CV to We regret to advise that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
