Job Title: Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: HeywoodSalary: £30,000 to £40,000 per annumYour new role:Based in a busy department of Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineers, where machines are designed from concept to final detail you will carry out concept and detailed design, produce detailed drawings to agreed standards, perform design calculations,generate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and contribute to the improvement of machine design. Other responsibilities will include the use of 3D CAD (PTC Creo) and use of 2D CAD for layouts and Schemes, selecting suitable components within agreed guidelines, holdingpresentations to colleagues, checking designs, drawings and BOMs.Skills, experience and qualifications required:
