We have a fantastic opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Worker, working at a Leading Local Authority in Greater Manchester. This is a temporary Full-time role, for the next 1 - 2 months.The RoleYour role will be to carry out general gardening / ground’s maintenance duties, including grass cutting using handheld strimmer’s. Carrying out Hedge trimming, Shrub Maintenance, edging off on the Councils green spaces. Weed removal and general street cleaning.DutiesYou will be required to litter pick areas where required and empty litter bins if necessary.You will need to be physically fit, reliable, and willing to learn about all aspects of horticulture.Must be able to work on your own, or as part of a team.Be flexible to work in any part of the borough.Also to be flexible and willing to work overtime as part of the service needs and requirements (on an aad-hoc basis).Key Requirements
