We are seeking a Bookkeeper that communicates well with clients and has the experience to join the team.Job title: BookkeeperLocation: 10 Market Place, Heywood, Lancashire, OL10 4NLSalary: £22,000£24,000 /year + Benefits (listed below)About the roleWorking in a family run and rapidly growing independent accountancy practice in Heywood, you will be required to work with a range of clients across many and varied industries from small Sole Traders to good size Limited Companies. You will be expectedto reconcile banks and the other main nominal accounts quickly and accurately, through to preparing quality management accounts for your portfolio of clients. You will also prepare VAT returns and, ad-hoc, assist in preparing year end accounts.You must be able to competently use the Microsoft Office suite with a particular emphasis on Excel and be competent in using the usual online Bookkeeping packages.The role will entail daily contact with clients, so we expect you to be able to communicate well and confidently.You will have worked in a similar setting previously and be comfortable managing multiple clients, often to tight deadlines as well as working in an open plan office.About the teamwhy do people join usWe believe in developing and investing within.
