Accountant - Part Qualified - PracticeWe are extremely pleased to present this unique opportunity to become a company director in the future.Harvey McQueen are currently recruiting for a well-established Accountancy Practice based in the Heywood area who are looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within practice.The ideal applicant will be someone who is looking to progress their career and develop their skills. Long term prospects will be to become a joint partner in the business.Semi-Senior Accountant Responsibilities:• The Semi Senior Accountant will be responsible for; Management Accounts, Accounts preparation, bookkeeping, statutory accounts, payroll functions.• Working with the Partners on a number of client accounts• Liaising with clients and resolving issues and queries• Vat Tax Returns, Bank reconciliations and general office administrative duties.The ideal Semi-Senior Accountant: • Must be AAT Qualified or part ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience• At least 18 months practice experience• Have good communication skills both written and verbal• Looking to progress with their career in Accountancy and strengthen their skills• Experience with accounts with statutory accounts preparation.We are looking for a candidate who is serious about long term commitments with the prospects of joining the company as a Director in the future who values clients who has outstanding communication skills and relationship building ability.You will be committed to working whatever hours it takes to ensure that all statutory filing is correct and filed in good time on behalf of your clients.If this is the career that you are ideally looking for please, forward your CV to Harvey McQueen with a covering letter explaining why you feel that this is the role for you Required skills
