Are you an experienced Service & Maintenance Engineer - High Precision who has worked in high tolerance, very precise machinery within an electronics company A well-established R&D organisation that design and manufacture Semiconductor, Mmwave, RF and Microwave equipment and components are recruiting for a Service & Maintenance Engineer - High Precision. They supply their products to the Telecoms, Broadcast, Aerospace,Defence and Satcom industries and have a plan to grow their design department over the coming years. The Service & Maintenance Engineer - High Precision will join a team of 15 engineers, working in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with highly complex machinery. The responsibilities for this Service & Maintenance Engineer - High Precision include: - Maintaining all production equipment so specifications are maintained - Working within a ISO 9001 quality system - Installation and commission of new equipment - Perform programme preventative maintenance and servicing schedules - Produce detailed technical reports for new machine operating procedures and process specifications The ideal Service & Maintenance Engineer - High Precision will have the following skills and experience: - Good problem-solving techniques in electromechanical/electronics - Ability to fault find to PCB/component level - Experience in vision inspection systems and tape & reel packaging - Experience working to very fine geometries, desirably to mechanical tolerances on machines to 0.0001" (2.5um) This is an exciting opportunity for a Service & Maintenance Engineer - High Precision to join an exciting company.
