Job Description

Business development manager service providerWe are very pleased to announce that we are working with another high quality operator.My client owns and operates sector-leading facilities in the Swanley area of Greater London. As a result of internal growth, they are seeking to appoint a new business development manager to the team.The business development mananger will focus on new business development activities, and will have several key accountabilities:

  • Networking - attending and running them
  • Referral generation
  • Setting up events
  • Building relationships with local businesses and professionals
  • Building and developing exisiting accounts / relationships
  • Full sales lifecyle accountablity, including:
    1. Managing all incoming enquiries
    2. Qualifying all new potential customers / clients
    3. Setting up F2F or video sessions with qualified customers
    4. Conduct presentations to clients as part of a needs based sales cycle
    5. Managing sale through to close
    Requirments:We are looking for a proven sales / business deveopment professional who can demonstrate:
  • A track record within a pro-active sales environment
  • A high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy
  • Trained in consultative sales techniques (e.g. SPIN selling)
  • Access to own vehicle would be advantageous
  • Note: This is an office-based job, with elements of local meetings, face to face, and remote client contact whilst guidlelines allow back to the office work patterns. Some work may need to be from home if the COVID response changes, but this role will not be a permanent work from home setting, and candidates will need to be comfortable with this. Required skills
