Job Description

Equipment Control ManagerLocation HestonWhat’s the purpose of role:To take responsibility for management of airline equipment stocks both rotable and disposable. Ensuring effective communication processes are in place and compliance to company and airline standards met. To maintain an effective process to maintain par levels and equipment supply in line with airline requirements.Who you’ll deal with:Internal:Shift Managers, employees, other units, Central Services, local team, Support Functions, General Manager.External: Airlines, HMC&E, DfT, auditors, contractors, EHOWhat you’ll be doing:

  • To ensure equipment stock counts are carried out and reported in line with airline requirements
  • Identifying and highlighting variances to inbound and outbound equipment loading and supporting the corrective action
  • Ensure any and all variances of equipment received inbound are measured and reported
  • Provide corrective action to any variances and ensure implemented with relevant areas and managers and ensure compliance
  • Maintain systems internally to monitor consumption of equipment in line with airline required par levels
  • Regular reporting of any variances on equipment use internally
  • Dealing with all issues or customer requests in a timely manner, highlighting matters which cannot be resolved to the relevant manager
  • Proactive communication with internal and external customers, line manager and customer service team regarding operational issues.
  • Ensure deadline and schedules are met
  • Ensure standards of external and internal customer service are met.
  • Adhering to All Legislation, Company Policies and Customer requirements

    • What you’ll have:
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Outlook, Word and
  • Excel, basic level of competence
  • Evidenced people management experience e.g.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Evidence of problem solving in previous roles, including
  • planning, organising and delegation.
  • Ability to coach and deliver basic training
  • Ability to plan, organise and delegate
