Our Client is an award-winning manufacturer in a specialist and growing market that supplyto a range of different industries including Automotive, Plastics, Food and Drink, Steel and Pharmaceutical. The company are based in a modern, bespoke manufacturing facility in East Yorkshire, but operate globally, exporting over 98% of their products worldwide.They are an innovative business, very much valuing the edge their people give them. Their culture is one that welcomes diversity, fosters talent, encourages internal movement and progression and places safety as their number one priority.The company is now looking to recruit a Technical Assembly Operator to help meet an increase in customer orders.The hours of work are a permanent afternoon shift which is 13:45-22:00 Mon-Thurs andFri13:45-20:45.The starting salary is £22.5k (plus a 15% shift premium), 33 days paid holiday including bank holidays, lots of overtime available all paid at time and a half, pension and bonus.The Technical Assembly Operative role you will be trained to align optical elements and systems, calibrate and then test products, solder components and complete all the relevant documentation and data sheets. You will be expected to apply quality standards,interpret drawings, use hand tools, show initiative, and manage your own time. You will be expected to demonstrate problem-solving skills, patience, balanced decision-making and be able to follow detailed instructions.Ideally you should also have experience of;
