Job Description

Job Title: Production OperativeLocation: Hessle, HullJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeWorking Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a 2-week rotating shift patternSalary: £10.50 to £13.84 an hour.As a Production Operative you will play a pivotal role in creating high quality products for our customers.Duties will include:

  • Setting and operating machines, working on a production line
  • Regularly checking machines during operation to ensure the highest quality of product is produced
  • Conducting quality checks of the product
  • Labelling and packing items ready for dispatch
  • Meeting production targets
  • Completing production paperwork
  • Completing daily checks
  • Follow Safe Working Practices
  • Adhere to Health & Safety and environmental procedures and regulations
Full training will be provided.Requirements:You must be a team player, be self-motivated, resilient under pressure and be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency and self-discipline to get the work done as you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers. Excellent attentionto detail, to ensure our quality standards are met.Previous Production//Machine Operative experience within Manufacturing is desirable. This role requires standing for long periods.When You’ll Be Working:Ability to work on the below two-week rotational shift pattern:Early Shift: Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00Late Shift: Monday to Thursday 14:00 to 22:30 Friday: 14:00 to 20:00Who We Are:Flexipol is in its 29th year, and during this time the business has grown steadily each year, providing long term secure employment.The company is BRC certificated and is an approved food packaging supplier to key manufacturers in the UK and internationally, such as those in the Marks and Spencer supply chain.The Company prides itself on its innovative approach to product design and manufacturing, along with an excellent reputation for high-quality customer service.We believe that our success is due to our unique blend of technical collaboration, innovation and extraordinary service and most importantly, the skills, teamwork and dedication of our employees.Why Work For us:
