Position: IT Support Salary: £18,000 - £25,000 per annumJob type: PermanentHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pmPlace of Work: Remote, homeworking with required onsite visits to Hessle office.We provide professional educational training courses online to customers across the globe. IT support is a key role within the company, and we are looking for a dynamic person with a range of IT skills. This position is primarily responsible for maintainingour day-to-day IT support requirements to both employees and customers. Additional responsibilities will grow as per the requirements of the companysuccessful applicants would also be expected to contribute to ongoing company projects.The post holder will report directly to the IT Director and should be in a position to work remotely. The role will require in-person visits to our UK office, which is based in Hessle (near the city of Hull) to provide hands-on support. It is preferableapplicants are geographically close to our offices and have some experience with hardware diagnosis and repair.Principle Duties/Tasks and responsibilities include:*Support our customers throughout their eLearning journey (email, telephone, videoconference)*Provide support to Team Members globally, including software and hardwareneeds.*Website editing and publishing.*Design and create graphics and interactions for eLearning products*Work with our Learning Management Systems (LMS) to manage content andusers*Contribute to our marketingThe ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the sector including:*Experience with learning management systems.*Experience in a previous IT support role.*Experience or knowledge of Microsoft Azure AD.*Strong design skills including graphics and web design.*Comfortable producing and editing HTML and CSS.*Additional programming skills in PHP, JavaScript or other.*Strong and confident communication skills.*An understanding of databases, i.e. MySQLExpectations for the role include:*An enthusiastic character*The ability to work within deadlines*Highly competent with Microsoft Office software*Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems*A general understanding of web technologiesThe successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team that values the contribution of all staff.To be considered for the IT Support role, please apply today.
