Job Description

Our client have a great opportunity for an IT Manager to join the business and take ownership of the IT Roadmap and internal infrastructure and systems.The business is undergoing and has plans for a number of upgrade projects which include a migration to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. It would be advantageous for the successful candidate to have experience of this platform.The IT Manager will be responsible for 2 sites with manufacturing and distribution activities as well as office based functions on them - ensuring that the businesses computer systems, infrastructure, and communications networks are appropriate to the businessneeds of the company and manage the ongoing development of these as they evolve.We are looking to speak with IT Manager candidates that are interested in innovation and evolving processes and systems in the long term as the business has robust growth plans and will offer great opportunities to innovate and capitalise on investment opportunities.As IT Manager your main responsibilities include: * Take responsibility for the IT Roadmap and driving the companys technology landscape forward.* Create and maintain IT budgets* Dealing with upgrades/maintenance.* Play your part in the configuration & support of various projects centred around improving the businesses technology infrastructure.* Implement / maintain the major incident plan for all critical applications within the organisation.* Take responsibility for IT/Cybersecurity* Periodic reporting of key metrics, risks and issues to senior management* Collate data and trends for systems performance with a view to identify and deploy solutions to improve service levels.* Management of Networking and Telephony infrastructure* Support ad hoc 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support issuesAdditional considerations:* Working with a ERP and CRM system implementations would be an advantage, specifically the MS Dynamics products.* The ability to support or interest in performing some Analyst / Report generation activity from applications where necessary to support departmental decision making* Proficiency in Office 365 suite* General networking and desktop administration* Undertake appropriate training in line with your duties.The Ideal candidate will have: * Sound technical knowledge of MS Suite, Active Directory and access databases etc* Knowledge of office 365, specifically managing and maintaining OneDrive / SharePoint and teams infrastructure* Previous project management experience is desirable but not essential.* Knowledge of both network and telephony infrastructure* Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.This is a great opportunity to join a business with a fantastic culture and environment offering the scope to grow and develop as the business evolves ensuring your technical thirst remains engaged for the long term.Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are a professional level recruitment consultancy specialising in the delivery of high relevance recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
