Finance Manager A fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Finance Manager to join a local manufacturing company supporting their ongoing growth whilst ensuring a tight ship in the day to day. The role of Finance Manager will see you inherit a small established team, with a remit to manage the day-to-day financial operations as well as support the SLT with key financial information relating to mid and long term objectives aligned to their growthstrategy.The Successful Finance Manager will demonstrate competence across financial operations within manufacturing environments, ideally with various value streams, you will be proven in developing stakeholder relationships and ideally be driven looking to progressprofessionally within an operation as it grows.Key responsibilities of the Finance manager will be: * Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, and statutory accounts* Liaise with the senior leadership team to advise and agree on appropriate budget allocation in the development business plans associated with capital projects.* Month and year-end reporting - Provide variance analysis of actuals vs budget and Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.* Implement strategies to optimize working capital.* Analyse costs and expenses to identify opportunities for cost reduction or increases in efficiency.* Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.* Work with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.* Supervise and lead the finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities.* Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.* Oversee tax compliance and planning activities, work closely with advisors to ensure accurate and timely filing of returns.* Utilise SAP & financial systems to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities* Some support in the management of existing and new contracts relating to support services like IT or insurance etcKey qualifications & experience * Relevant Degree or Professional qualification appropriate to the role - eg ACCA or CIMA* Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within the manufacturing sector.* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.* Experience of SAP would be advantageous* Advanced in the use of Microsoft Excel* Effective communication and interpersonal skill* The ability to generate relatable reporting to support decision making.* Ideally experience of manufacturing and multi-site operations.This company are experiencing ongoing growth and offer super long term enrichment opportunities for the successful candidate.Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are a professional level recruitment consultancy specialising in the delivery of high relevance recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
