Job Description

Marks Sattin currently have a brilliant opportunity in Hessle, Hull for an Assistant Accountant to join their business on until September 2023 to cover maternity!This role will assist the Financial Controller in all aspects of the monthly accounts including detailed control account and bank reconciliations, VAT returns and HMRC submissions, month end journal and holiday/sickness ledger cover. Assist in the creationand development of current/new processes and systems and be able to produce ad hoc accounting analyses.This would suit a candidate with experience within a similar role and they are looking to pay up to £32,000 with a 10% yearly bonus! The company can also allow 3/4 days per week working from home.Full responsibilities include:

Assist with preparation of monthly accounts for all homes, as directed by FC
Preparing Management Accounts pack including cashflow, commentary for various properties
Month End Balance Sheet Reconciliations - debtors, creditors
Bank Reconciliations
VAT Reconciliation
Accrual, Journals
