Job Title: Farm SupervisorLocation: Fareham, KentHours per week: 48 hoursSalary: £34,000We are delighted to bring this exciting Farm Supervisor position to the market, where the successful individual will look after an experienced and productive team within a fruit farm. With this role, there is on option to live on-site. This is a fantasticopportunity for someone who is looking to become a future Farm Manager.Duties & Responsibilities• Responsible for the supervising of the labour force, ensuring safe waysof work and company standards are followed. Adhering to all Healthand Safety regulations and good practice, tools and machinerymaintained well and fit for purpose• Complete all daily supervisor routines as required such as productionand pick calculations, record absence, and maintain your designatedteam schedule (rota) e.g. tunnels team, strimming, drivers.• Set and manage the workforce to daily targets. Responsible for teamperformance and record where appropriate - work with the FarmManager to drive efficiency in operations and reduce operational cost.• Work with the Growing team to ensure smooth operational performanceand efficient husbandry tasks are undertaken. This includes all croprelated items including spray sheets for review by Farm Manager.• Clear communication of operational plans and changes to all keystakeholders, such as Growing Managers, Farm Manager and all staff.Reporting back and updating on progress throughout the day• Adhere to site standards – challenging and championing good practice.Ensuring self-compliance to all Company and Statutory Rules, Policiesand Procedures.• Deputise for the Farm Manager as and when required, assuming fulloperational accountability across the site when required to do so.If you are interested in this market leading position, with an attractive salary and great progression opportunities, apply now!
