Job Description

Nutrix is a leading provider of care and support services dedicated to children with learning disabilities. Join us in ourmission to help them reach their full potential and enjoy a high quality of life.We are currently seeking dedicated Childrens Residential Support Workers to join our team and contribute to the well-being of children and young people with learning disabilities in our residential care homes. As a Residential Support Worker, you will playa pivotal role in providing essential support, care, and guidance to our residents.Hours: 40 hours per week, with 3-4 waking nights per week (£45 bonus when waking nights are worked)Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for the children.
  • Promote independence and life skills development.
  • Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Engage in activities that encourage social interaction, education, and recreation.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, therapists, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a residential setting.
  • Compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine passion for making a positive impact on young lives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A valid drivers license is desirable.
