A leading provider of specialised care for individuals with neuro-disability in particular Huntingtons Disease, we are seeking a General Manager who will play a critical and central role in ensuring well-being, comfort and overall quality of life for theresidents. Overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff and working in collaboration with the Registered Manager, healthcare professionals and support staff, you will be taking a leading role.You will be responsible for leading, managing and mentoring of central administrative and facilities staff and work with the Registered Manager to create a positive and supportive environment to ensure the highest levels of staff morale and retention. TheGeneral Manager will monitor and maintain the highest standards of care and service delivery, and with the Registered Manager, tailor the care provided to residents is unique to their needs.The position requires you to maintain the services in the two care homes, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, licensing requirements and industry standards. The Company will need to be ready and prepared to undergo and excel in any statutoryor care regulatory inspection.Workng with the Finance Manager you will work to ensure financial sustainability through budget-setting to optimise resource allocation.We expect that the senior managers will work to build and maintain positive relationships with the residents families and the local community which have been successfully developed and keep a positive atmosphere of communication and collaboration.The senior management team will develop and maintain emergency response plans to ensure safety of residents and staff at all times.
