Learning Disability Support WorkerHerne Bay, KentPermanent, Part Time (28 hpw), weekends and 3 part days per week. Thats when it hits home.We have a fabulous Part Time job opportunity for you to join our small but awesome team as our Learning Disability Support Worker. We support our brilliant customers who have a learning disability diagnosis and who live independently in a 3-bedroom propertybased in the centre of Herne Bay.We help change our customers lives for the better. Youll play your part by assisting in the delivery of tasks that are based on our customers personal support plans, and their needs and aspirations. No day is the same, one day you might be helping your customerto attend their personal PT session, the next day you might find yourself at a drama club. When youll do your jobYoull do your job 28 hours across 5 days a week: Monday, Thursday & Friday (6 hours a day) and Saturday and Sunday (5 hours a day). The great news is that can be flexible on the 3 weekdays are worked during the week, but the weekends are fixed. Ideally, wed like someone who could be available to work additional hours on occasion in order to cover for the other Support Worker at the project during leave or sickness.We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you!About our teamYoull do your Learning Disability Support Worker job alongside our fabulous team who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements.
