Job Description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer £36-40KNorth YorkshireElectrical Maintenance Engineer required who are used to project work and working within a fast paced manufacturing environment. Currently undergoing a large expansion project there is lots of scope for project work and pretty much Unlimited overtime!This will be a 3 shift based role for a leading Manufacturer. This is truly a fantastic role, as a skilled Engineer you will be required to diagnose Breakdowns and carry out repairs and maintenance to a range of production lines and equipment at the manufacturing facility.With a competitive salary and positive culture this would be a great long term career opportunity. The company have a great reputation, work with major companies and dominate their market place.An Electrical qualification / Apprenticeship and experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment is essential.Skills required:

Engineering background in a manufacturing industry preferred

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Pneumatics and Hydraulic experience

NVQ qualifications or completed a time served electrical apprenticeship

Knowledge of PLCs (Siemans) (S5/S7) As-l, Lenze servos, inverters, soft starts

Be aware of IEE 17th Edition regulations

Be able to communicate at all levels making time to listen and value opinions of others

Have an organised and focused approach to planning and prioritising your workload.

Awareness of TPM/PPM/OEE/5s

To be considered for the role you must have -

ONC, OND, HNC/D, DEGREE and/or Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship (qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent)

Industry experience of Automation,FMCG, Materials Handling, Postal & Parcel Sortation, Manufacturing, etc is highly desirable but not essential.
