They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to achieve and maintain the best possible performance whilst working closelywith the quality, sales, purchasing and engineering departments. Working for this established and reputable company, the successful candidate will be operating in a world class environment where the Production function is of upmost importance.Role Description* Manage, develop and lead the production team on site* To manage an efficient operation on site in line with KPI and budgetary targets* Monitoring Waste* Hands on role, ensuring all workers are working effectively and to a high standard* Overseeing and leading the site* Look at process/line improvements to increase efficiency* Planning production - Estimating costs and setting the quality standards* Working with the operations manager to implement the companys policies and goals* Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning and auditing* Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed* Supervising and motivating a team of workers* Reviewing worker performance* Deal with any employment personnel issues* Identifying training needsSkills and Qualifications* Production experience within manufacturing* Strong supervisory/leadership skills* Used to supervising members of staff* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills* Pragmatic* Excellent MS office skills, particularly Excel* Good understanding of current employment lawKey Benefits:* Salary: £45,000 - £55,000* Shifts: Days Shift Monday - Friday* Company Pension Scheme* Overtime available* Competitive holidays + Bank holidays* On site parkingIn return for your commitment my client offers a stable and secure career for technically motivated engineers.
