Job Description

We are AGI Global Logistics; one of the fastest growing logistics companies in the UK.We currently have 15 offices and branches across the UK and Europe with 250 network locations Worldwide.Our current team of 170 people go the extra mile to provide the same outstanding service to every client and we are all driven by delivering expert road, sea and air freight distribution and logistics solutions for our clients.The roleWe are a close team at AGI and we all work to deliver outstanding service to our customers. With a current team of 170 people which has grown by 50 people this year alone we are a fast-growing organisation and we are looking for a HR business partner tosupport our senior leadership team with their management, growth and retention.We are looking for a HR professional who takes a pragmatic and commercial approach to their delivery. As a key business partner to our Directors and Managers across our 16 branches you will have a strong statutory law knowledge and HR advisory background,you will also have experience in coaching and leading on employee relations procedures.Every day is different at AGI and we have a wide diversity of work which means maximum exposure to all areas and levels of HR. We work closely as a small HR team and we all get involved in everything from drafting letters and updating our HRIS, all the waythrough to recruitment, implementation of policies and new ways of working and delivering HR processes.You will have a strong belief in engagement, culture, wellbeing and diversity and will be able to provide advice and guidance on the development and promotion of these areas across the Group.Reporting to the Group HR Director you will have the opportunity to grow and learn with exposure to a wide variety of people situations and we offer opportunities for professional qualifications. You will also have the opportunity to be part of key strategicprojects and delivery as well as international HR and employment regulation as we grow our branches across Europe and beyond.We are open Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm and you would have the ability to pick your start time between 8 and 9am to suit your needs. There is no standard weekend working as we believe quality of life is incredibly important. We have a really friendly,professional and collaborative working environment and our people love being in the office as much as they can but you will have the ability to work from home a up to 2 days a week should you wish.Benefits

Qualifications and Experience:
  • CIPD qualified or have equivalent experience/qualification
  • Experience of chairing/attending HR meetings
  • Experience of advising senior individuals on management and HR processes
  • Strong up to date knowledge of Employment Law
  • Able to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and be able to influence others at all levels
  • Strong resilience and positivity particularly in challenging situations
  • Extremely organised with a high attention to detail and accuracy
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a strong team player
  • Accountability to yourself and others
  • High IT literacy skills and strong competency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • A sense of humour!
