Job Description

Production OperatorWe are looking for a full-time Production Operator to work in our clients flooring team at their manufacturing plant outside Peterborough. This role benefits from a shared bonus scheme for walling production.Main duties

Unloading lorries of stone with forklift
Loading stone onto stillages
Putting stillages of stone into saws and programming them to cut walling / building stone
Clearing up area with skid steer loading shovel and forward tipping dumper
Checking pallet stock
Manual labour / operating machinery
Planning ahead and liaising with walling production Foreman to keep cropping line flowing each day meeting customers demands

About youA background in stone masonry or construction it is not necessary as full training will be provided.You will need to have:

Experience of working in production for a manufacturing company an advantage.
Forklift licence an advantage.
Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality
The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team and managers

Our client provides all PPE required for the role.Working hours are usually 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday, however, some flexibility may be required and extended hours may sometimes be necessary to meet deadlines.INDJOB
