Elevation are proud to be partnered with Stanley Black & Decker in the Rotherham area, who are looking for forward thinking Machine Operatives to join their well-established team!Salary: £28,775Location: RotherhamHours: 12 hour days and nights on a rotating shift pattern covering 6 days a week - you only work 1 Saturday and Sunday a month!A few of the many benefits: *Well established, financially stable company*25 days holiday plus stats*Shift allowance*Free parking on site *Overtime available *Progression opportunities*Full training to be provided*Pension scheme*Personal guidance for the individual and their family*Only work 156 days a year!Duties of a Machine Operative:*Set and operate various machines associated with the manufactur-ing process*May be required to carry out manual production / packing opera-tions.*Accurately record information relating to scrap, downtime, and ma-chine issues.*Have a knowledge & understanding of shop orders*Collection & checking of materials to be used in the production pro-cess *Compliance with SOPs / work instructions associated with each process *Completion of all relevant Safety and Quality Checks on Process and Product in accordance with Stanley Black and Decker Safety and Quality standards.*Asset care of assigned machinery (Simple, routine machine checks and aintenance tasks)*Must be able to multi-task and run multiple machines at any timeDesired experience:*You must ideally have worked within a heavy manufacturing background previously*Must have experience of running operating machinery previously *Must have good understanding of English and Mathematics*Must have a mechanical aptitude *Ideally have experience of working within an engineering role pre-viously*Have an engineering qualification - this is beneficial but not essential*Ideally have experience of working with CNC machines previously *Ideally be able to read engineering drawings This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
