Job Description

This is a fixed term post until 31/03/2021 We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Primary Mental Health Worker to join the CAMHS Team in Helensburgh on a fixed term contract until 31.03.21 at 0.4 wte.The Primary Mental Health Worker role is to create and provide a locality based, accessible, flexible and user friendly service. The main focus of the work will be to provide direct clinical input aimed at addressing children and young people’s mental health needs, coupled with consultation and training to professionals regarding young people’s mental health.We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is able to work independently and flexibly. The post holder must have a relevant professional qualification, experience of working with children and young peoples mental health difficulties and knowledge of systems theory, child development and therapeutic interventions appropriate to addressing the mental health needs of young people and their families.
