Job Description

Maintenance Planning Specialist SF29436 Location - Faslane Business Unit - Clyde Salary: £43,000 + benefits About the role Here at Babcock International, we are looking for a Maintenance Planning Specialist. You will be In charge of a Maintenance Planning Team of 6 individuals. This role will involve the co-ordination of Maintenance Planning activities across Faslane and Coulport. As a Babcock employee working within an MoD contract, the role offers an enhanced level of job security. There is great potential for career progression within both this role and other roles within the Group. There are 1,800 employees at the base with continual growth and career opportunities across the contract. What do I need to do the role You must have Mechanical, electrical and / or civil engineering systems and equipment experience Key areas of competency we require are as follows:

  • Ideally have planning and project management procedures and processes experience
  • Ideally will come from an Infrastructure background
  • Ideally the right individual will have a HNC (or equivalent qualification) in either an Electrical or Mechanical Discipline
    • What else do I need to know
  • You must hold or have the ability to obtain full SC clearance
