We require a Quantity Surveyorto be based in our Newcastle office, this is a new role to support the growth of the department.About the Role:We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor, this role is responsible for ensuring our business gets the best possible service and value from our supplier network, as well as ensuring all service providers are compliant and continueto meet contractual obligations and business needs.You will focus on providing the necessary pre- and post-contract quantity surveying support on a range of programmes of work forming an integral part of the commercial team supporting the Commercial Manager in the daily commercial management of our portfolioof civil engineering projects.The works are fast paced and high in volume and requires an experienced candidate with the ability to manage these processes efficiently and accurately.Day to day tasks are as follows:
