Job Description

My client is one of the largest insurance brokerage and risk management organisations in the world. They are expanding the digital team and are looking for a mid-level Front-end Developer. This role requires a passion for Javascript, Typescript, React and Angular. Any experience with PHP, Ruby or Rails would be a big bonus!. You will be working with some great Internal/External clients. What is the roleTo effectively contribute the in the development of commercially viable digital solutions, enabling the strong sustainable growth of Gallagher. Develop and maintain business relationships with clients to promote technical innovation and excellenceKey responsibilities

To support in the delivery of project-based work including timescale and budget awareness

To be able to actively contribute in technical meetings, internally and externally

To assist in the delivery of technical responses in order to win new business (written and face to face)

To support in the design and development of innovative, market leading products and solutions

To be able to contribute in all aspects of digital service delivery and support other roles and teams where there is a project need or skills gap

As required, perform the role of any lower role in the team in order to ensure project success

Maintain and form client relationships to enable effective delivery of project work

Respond to client issues and requirements and escalate to the project manager to ensure these are addressed as required

To attend suggested relevant courses and take advantage of other L&D opportunities that arise

To be able to provide reasoned estimates of time and resource to aid work planning
