About the roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen at RDC2 Haydock, for a Band 2 Transport Section Manager working on rotating shifts, hours of work will be 06:00am – 14:00pm, and 14:00pm – 22:00pm, any 5 from 7 days.Role ResponsibilityLegal Compliance: Ensure Operator Licence requirements are met using available tools (Inc. drivers hours, fleet usage & breakdowns)Plan Execution: Oversee daily Schedule in line with KPI’s & Budget. Decision making regarding drivers, loads and backhauls.Driver Group Management (1-2-1’s, queries, Lytx Coaching, Microlise, Infringements)Health & Safety: Contractor Management, Accident / Incident reporting, escalation & pack completionHR: Procedures Absence (inc Welfare), Grievance & Disciplinary.Payroll: Accurate Sign off of Driver’s Hours & absence.Data Collation & Communication: Collecting all the information required and logging it on the system.
