About the roleTo work with the Supply Chain General Managers and Management Teams to drive forward the HR strategy, whilst providing a customer focused HR Service that meets the needs of the business operation plan.To support the HR strategy through the implementation of initiatives driven out of HR Plan on the Page.Role ResponsibilityWorking in partnership with the Supply Chain Leadership Team, influencing decisions on all aspect of employee management, ensuring that the risk to the company is minimised and that all procedures are observed.To review and develop HR policies and procedures to support best practice and ensure the company complies with current and future legislation.Forge collaborative relationships with the Trade Unions to ensure a positive and constructive working relationship.To support the sites in any discussions/negations with Trade unions. Administer any subsequent changes in the agree timeline.To assist the operational KPIs through effective people management by identifying opportunities to improve service to the customer and the development of solutions to drive continued business performance.Manage talent cycle, including identification of training needs, development of training solutions, coaching on the go. Completion of PDRs and Individual Development Plans in place for all management colleagues. Identification of high performers and potentialbackfill to business critical roles.Support company/site inductions for all new colleagues.Support with Management interviews and on-boarding process.To work alongside site management teams to ensure consistent approach to performance management.To support a culture of celebrationidentifying successes/achievements through a robust reward/recognition process that colleagues want.Providing sites with accurate weekly/period HR KPI reporting.Headcount management ensuring Right People at the Right Time (RPRT)Working with Shared Service team to ensure delivery of the SLA.Accurate people management advice that does not add additional cost in to the business through effective stakeholder management ensuring that all legal obligations are met.You will needFull UK Manual car driving licence.Solid experience in Human Resources or related field including experience influencing senior management and critical stakeholders ideally CIPD Qualified or working towards a professional qualification in People.Experience of Recruitment, Absence & Performance management.Demonstrated experience in the development of solutions to support the operation ideally within a supply chain environment with exposure to Trade Unions.Knowledge of Employment Law and ER process management including, negotiation skills, letter writing, tribunal managementAbility to identify training needs and develop a plan to addressIT skillset to include, Word, Excel, Power point.
