Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Neighbourhood Advisor for a well-established company in the Bury area. This is an excellent temporary ongoing role with an immediate start, offering career development and a pay of £12.37 per hour.About The Role:

Allocating properties, signing up new tenants and undertaking viewings where required

Providing advice and dealing with any enquiries or complaints regarding rent collection, arrears recovery, lettings, and tenancy management

Building strong relationships with tenants, residents contractors, and partner agencies, acting as a first point of call

Ensuring tenants adhere to terms of agreement

Investigating any tenancy breaches, monitoring compliance and challenge any unacceptable behaviour

Identifying and supporting tenant referrals

Coordinating and supporting any community and neighbour projects

Preparing and submitting any legal paperwork and providing evidence in hearing when required

Attending and participating in multi-agency meetings, conferences, and reviews

Essential Skills & Experience

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Proactive, adaptable, self-motivated, and self-aware

Always acts with the customer in mind

Excellent influencing and relationship building skills

Strong communication skills

Ability to manage potential risks

Methodical, analytical and process led

Able to manage and prioritise own workloads

Effective decision maker

Experience of working within the housing sector is essential

About The Benefits

Hours of work, Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Competitive pay, £12.37 per hour

Ongoing temporary position until March 2021
