HV & LV Overhead Line EngineerEstablished in 2002, CPD powerline Ltd is a leading specialist in the supply, construction and refurbishment of electricity & telecoms infrastructure across the UK & Ireland.What is the RoleDue to our continued growth, we have an excellent opportunity for experienced LV & HV Overhead Line Engineers to join our distribution team and progress your career within the industry.As part of this role, you will be working on HV & LV Networks up to 33kV, carrying our refurbishment & maintenance work on projects in the Norfolk & Essex areas.Duties & Responsibilities

To be a key part of an Overhead Line team installing maintaining and repairing overhead electrical networks from LV to 33kV in accordance with relevant construction & quality standards.

Have a high regard for safety at all times, ensuring you adhere to all Electrical & Safety Safe Systems & work procedures & provide excellent customer service at all times.

To ensure that all work is carried out efficiently and in accordance with Company procedures and Client/Company distribution safety rules.

Carry out risk assessments, method statements and maintain safe working practices.

What do I Need

To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in construction, repair and refurbishment and a sound HV or LV Electrical knowledge.

You should also have good communication skills, be adaptable, self-motivated and flexible. You also need to be flexible to carry out stand-by duties and attend short notice work in the event of severe weather.

A team player that is enthusiastic and willing to participate and take responsibility.

Current DNO authorisations of Overhead Lines wood pole works up to 33kV
CSR/Safepass/SHEA Power
Manual Handling
First Aid
MEWP/IAPF Certificate
Pole Top Rescue
Full driving licence
Category C licence
