Job Description

Are you looking to make a difference in Childrens lives Do you have social work experience of working within children with disabilityThe pay would be up to £37/hr based on your location and this may be negotiable.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To work in a respectful and professional manner with children and families that is focused on achieving what is in the best interest of the child
  • To work with children and families in a variety of diverse and complex contexts, such as mental ill health, disability, substance misuse, domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, radicalisation, poverty, discrimination, and immigration
  • To explore contingency plans that utilise the familys support network as much as possible, even when exploring other caring arrangements for children
  • To represent the local authority in a professional and competent matter, especially when making representations at court, with families, or with other agencies
Reed are now offering a joining bonus of up to £250 for Qualified Social Workers. Terms apply.As the ideal candidate, you will be:
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Have minimum 2 years of experience in working with children with different types of disabilities
  • Able to drive car and have a UK Driving License
