Job Description

You will be based at our successful and expanding jigsaw puzzle factory in Hatherleigh near Okehampton, Devon.About the jobYou will join a team of 5 helping us to deliver an excellent level of customer service. Your day will be varied but will include taking orders, replying to complex enquiries by email and phone and providing details about stock and product information. Youwill also be speaking to our suppliers and warehouse team to arrange collections and deliveries as necessary.Your skills and experienceWe are looking for a hard-working individual who is a natural problem solver and loves interacting with customers. You must be confident in using IT every day to collate and process orders as well as knowledge of various CRM and ecommerce websites, (althoughtraining will be provided). You must be numerate and have a reasonable understanding of MS Office packages such as Word and Excel.We are a busy team so you will need to be organised, able to prioritise, and to work quickly. Good communication skills are essential along with being a team player with great people skills.Specific Skills Required are:- Minimum of one years customer service experience- IT savvy, comfortable with switching between different systems- Happy and friendly manner in writing and on the phone- Excellent grammar and written EnglishIt would be desirable if you had:- Experience of using Linnworks- A good basic understanding of ecommerce- Sales administration and account management- A love of jigsaw puzzles!HoursMonday - Friday (plus Saturday working, usually once every 5-6 weeks) | 8.30am - 5pm | 1 hour lunch | 37.5 hrs per week We need flexible weekend working further into Autumn as our Christmas sales kick in, so spreading your weekly hours into shift patterns,such as 4 days on and 3 days off, but some of those 4 days could be weekends.You will report to the Head of Customer Services, and you will be part of the Sales Team.BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary, 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension scheme and a free jigsaw each month.COVID-19 considerations:You are welcome to wear a mask when mixing in areas.
