Job Description

ICT Technical Project Manager Contract: 6 MonthsCompetitive Daily Rate HatfieldOur International pharmaceutical client is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager. This role is responsible to plan, co-ordinate, lead and manage the EMEA ICT technical projects. Ensuring that project products meet the required standard, project deliverables are achieved within agreed timescales & within budget and the project is delivered in accordance with regulatory, corporate, regional and site regulations, policies, standards and procedures. Main duties and responsibilities:To Lead and project manage the implementation of ICT projects as defined below and as required. Projects must ensure full compliance with all processes and procedures within agreed deadlines and budget:o Infrastructure Remediation Project - Project to review current infrastructure to identify & remediate all single points of failure, review infrastructure architecture and implement change where required to optimise performance and service delivery.o Network Security - Firewall replacement, Palo Alto Upgrade, Stealthwatch Upgrade, NAC implementation, SIEM, Vulnerability scanning solution replacement, USB port management o Decommissioning - Lotus Notes data migration to SharePoint solutiono Infrastructure Systems Event/ Capacity Monitoring - SolarWinds platform improvementso Penetration Testing - Remediation activitieso Systems Integrations projects: Various System integrationso Virtual Infrastructure Enhancement - VDI / ESX environmentso Business System Projects. * Ensure each project is established and operated in accordance with project management best practice, with effective governance, planning, budget management, resource assignment, quality assurance, task oversight and evaluation.* Partnering with the Finance department & Associate Director, EMEA ICT ensure project finances are controlled within assigned budget and ensure financial reporting is accurate. * Prioritise and action project delivery according to an agreed risk-based approach. Manage risks and risk mitigation to a successful outcome.* Resolve project issues and initiate appropriate correction action(s).* Ensure that requirements, process, and progress is transparent and widely understood across project stakeholders and third-party vendors as required. * Monitor and report on progress towards agreed objectives/costs against project plan/ budget.* Develop, execute, and manage project test plans and activities as required * Identify & delivery relevant training to ensure project delivery and ongoing solution operation & support service. * Ensure final project products/deliverables meet all requirements & realise defined benefits.* Ensure all documentation produced as part of the project is fit for purpose. * Ensure delivered project products are successfully transitioned to BAU operations and have adequate support service in place to be maintained & developed.
