Job Description

DB Charles Recruitment are partnered with a successful business based in Harrow that are looking to hire a new permanent Recruitment Consultant with a focus on roles, clients & candidates within Construction.The business has a long standing track record of success dating to their start out in the 1970s and the company specialises in providing a number of support services to certain industries and they offer their clients tailored and innovative services so to allow them to deliver projects within the specific industry.For this role as recruitment consultant, the business requires a driven individual not afraid of starting something from scratch to come on-board and build up a desk and relationships within the construction industry.A number of day to day duties will be involved such as:

  • Brings onboard / business develops relationships with new clients and an ability to turn them into long-term relationships.
  • Takes job briefs and understands client requirements.
  • Utilises recruiting methods to attract candidates and sources them via methods such as databases, job boards, social media etc.
  • Evaluates CVs and applications.
  • Answers communications and responds to client requests and enquiries.
  • Pre interview screening
  • Matches the most suitable candidates to different positions.
  • Creates relationships with job seekers.
  • Facilitates and finalises agreements between candidates and employers.
  • Manages workload to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Carries out tasks at a high standard.
  • Works towards / exceeds KPIs / targets
    • For this role, the client is seeking CVs with aspects of the following skill sets:
  • A previous working background as a recruitment consultant within / has ties to the construction industry
  • Trades & labour recruitment experience
  • Previously built a desk from cold into a successful consistent desk
  • Must be able to drive
  • Ability to build relationships from scratch
  • Strong presentation abilities
  • Resilient attitude
  • Ability to demonstrate a great attitude to succeed
  • A background of dealing with people face to face and via the phone
  • Commitment to a permanent role based in Harrow
    • The role will be working Monday to Friday, with workings hours of 8am to 5pm and the client is ideally looking to offer a salary up to £35,000K per annum with additional benefits on offer such as:
