Job Description

Commercial Gas EngineerHarrow£40,000-£50,000 + Benefits (D.O.E.)An exciting new vacancy has just opened with one of our brilliant clients who specialise in providing gas compliance services across London and the surrounding areas. They are currently seeking multiple commercial gas engineers to join their continuouslygrowing team of industry experts.They manage over 150,000 properties completing boiler replacements, unvented installations, full system upgrades and cylinder upgrades and have over 30 years experience in the gas compliance sector. This is a rewarding opportunity suited for skilled gasengineers looking for a fresh challenge in 2023.Key Duties of a Commercial Gas Engineer:

  • To abide by all Health & Safety Regulations.
  • To carryout servicing & repairs to plumbing and heating systems including appliances.
  • To achieving the companies, target of 90% first time fixes.
  • To attend call out within targeted times and liaise with the office on any issues.
  • To identify materials and parts required to carry out repairs.
  • To record accurate logs of work undertaken and materials used.
  • To manage, control and be responsible for allocated van stock ensuring levels are kept.
  • To participate on the out of hours emergency call out rota. To complete risk assessments of work and working environments prior to any work undertaken.
Skills & Experience needed for the role:
  • A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
  • You must be Commercial Gas safe qualified to be considered.
  • You must have at least 3-years experience in a commercial setting.
  • You must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
