Job Description

CNC Turner Machinist

£15 - £16 per hour (£28.5k - £30.7k)
Hours of work: Mon - Thurs 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 1pm
Location: near Brentwood
Overtime available

We have an immediate permanent position available for a CNC Turner (Setter and Operator) to join a very well-established precision Engineering business in Essex specialising in the Aerospace Industry.The roles primary function will be to produce low volume, high quality machined parts for the Aerospace industry.CNC Turner Experience/Duties:

You must be able to demonstrate proven experience and successful track record in setting and operating CNC Lathes using Fanuc/Heidenhein controls (preferably Miyano, Star Sliding Head or Doosan Puma)
Solid experience using handheld inspection equipment for the purpose of carrying out self-inspection of your machined parts e.g verniers, micrometers, calipers etc
Experience of working in machining workshop environment for 3 or more years
Solid understanding of machining practices and H&S procedures
