Day to day, youll be out and about completing electrical, mechanical and instrumental maintenance and repairs at Water Treatment Works, pumping stations and storage sites.Youll have the motivation and discipline to carry out the bulk of your work independently, but also get a buzz from working collaboratively with your team to manage various treatment sites, ensuring these are operating efficiently and reliably. Travelling from place to place couldnt be easier as youll be given a brand new company van to drive to/from sites according to your schedule.What do I needAs youll be working primarily with electrical and mechanical plant and equipment, youll hold a recognised electrical/mechanical qualification and have demonstratable experience of working on this kind of equipment. Experience in a similar process-driven environment is essential as were looking for individuals with an engineering mindset who can apply their electrical and mechanical expertise to identify and resolve faults. As the service youll provide is essential to the customer, youll be comfortable participating in a standby rota to ensure someones always on call if theres an operational issue.
