Job Description

  • Responsible for being the first point of contact for patients and service users when attending or contacting the PALS & Complaints Department, acting in a professional, calm, and responsible manner, taking accurate details of concerns raised (face to face,telephone, e-mail, or letter).
  • Logging compliments and general praise from patients, relatives, carers, and staff as required.
  • Monitoring NHS Choices and responding to feedback.
  • All concerns and complaints taken are actioned promptly and must either be dealt with and resolved or passed to the appropriate senior member of Trust staff to resolve.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the aboveYoull learn the following whilst working at the trust:
  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
Youll have the following skills/experience:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • System knowledge of COSMIC & Datix.
  • Previous experience of using COSMIC. (Desirable)
  • Previous experience of note taking. (Desirable)
