Job Description

Berry Recruitment are currently working with a local company in Harlow who are looking for an Import Clerk.This is a permanent position paying between £18,000 - £22,000 per annum dependant on experience.Previous experience in a similar role will be beneficial however training will be given.In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with suppliers & Customers for bookings
  • Managing jobs from start to finish
  • Arranging customs clearance and deliveries on arrival in the UK
  • Liaising with shipping lines / Hauliers
The ideal candidate will need to have very good communication and relationship building skills, Basic understanding of Microsoft applications and knowledge of boxtop/Descartes would be advantageous.This position comes with the following benefits after completion of your 3 months probationary period:
