Job Description

Salary: £45,000 to £48,000 per annumLocation: The role is based In Harlow, Essex at the Motability Foundations offices, easily commutable from London, 30 minutes from Liverpool Street station or 18 minutes from Tottenham Hale station.As an Evaluation Manager you will have an important role, providing technical expertise to ensure the right data is collected during implementation to help us evaluate impact in the longer-term.We are dedicated to ensuring we deliver impactful projects and programmes and are committed to identifying improvements to further our potential impact.This role will be closely, though not solely, working with our Innovation team which is looking at newways for the Foundation to support accessible travelWhat youll be doing:

  • Work with programme and Innovation teams to support the development of programme/project specific monitoring and evaluation plans, theories of change and results frameworks. This will involve building capacity of these teams, and working with other charitiesand organisations who are recipients of Motability Foundations grants.
  • Lead on design and implementation of evaluations that assess organisational and specific programme/project level relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, social and economic impact.
  • Develop terms of reference for various evaluations, in consultation with programmes and Innovation teams.,
  • Design evaluation approaches and methodologies, data collection instruments and analysis frameworks. Lead on tender processes, where evaluations or components of them are to be outsourced, and manage delivery ensuring the work is delivered according toagreed timelines and meets user needs.
  • Undertake and oversee design, collection and cleaning of data ready for analysis.
  • Undertake analysis and reporting of the collected data to respond to the evaluation questions and criteria.
  • Support programme and Innovation managers and teams to meaningfully report outcome and impact data.
About you:Must haves:
  • Experience of monitoring and evaluating interventions and supporting and facilitating others to develop logical frameworks and monitoring and evaluation plans.
  • Relevant qualification in an analytical discipline or evidence of professional experience in the area of evaluation.
  • Highly experienced in developing evaluation terms of reference working closely with programme teams.
  • Ability to lead on design, delivery and implementation of monitoring and evaluation for projects.
  • Familiarity with handling data protection protocols, ensuring data security and ethical considerations.
  • Exceptional written and oral skills.
  • Highly IT literate.
Nice to haves:
  • Understanding of disability, mobility and accessible design issues.
  • Experience calculating cost/ benefit analysis and social return on investment.
  • Experience of using statistical software.
