  • Campaign Marketing Executive (B2B)
  • Remote based, with occasional travel to our Harlow and London offices
  • 37.5 hours full-time, 12 month contract
  • Reporting to: Senior Campaign Marketing Manager
  • Salary: £26,500 - £27,500 depending on experience
This is an incredibly exciting time to join Pearson Higher Education. Starting in 2022, we are expanding our campaign marketing activity into our European regions across Benelux & Nordics, DACH, Italy, Eastern Europe, Spain and France, as well as the UK& Ireland. We work with higher education institutions to solve their teaching and learning challenges. Whether its a custom textbook structured around their course, a digital homework and assessment tool for their students or help designing an online course,we find solutions and support university staff to implement them.We are looking for a motivated, self-driven Campaign Marketing Executive to help support, develop and execute marketing campaigns to grow awareness and adoption of the Pearson Higher Education Services portfolio to our diverse B2B target audiences, usingmulti-channel campaigns both digitally and offline.Reporting to the Senior Campaign Manager, you will actively support the Campaign team to deliver high impact campaigns for our products and services. With a vast portfolio, we have a busy annual campaign plan to reach, engage, convert, and retain customers.As well as supporting the campaign team, you will work closely with our product marketing team, Data Optimsation Manager, product portfolio managers, service development leads and field sales teams.This role allows for exposure to a range of marketing practices and tools, including marketing automation, project management and the involvement in strategic campaign planning, copywriting, budgeting, and campaign performance analysis.Your key AccountabilitiesThe successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience in:
  • Supporting with the creation of assets for marketing campaigns.
  • Supporting marketing email campaign activity through effective use of email automation and Pardot platformdeveloping emails, producing copy, imagery assets, data segmentation and tracking links.
  • Contributing to go-to-market planning, documentation and execution across print, digital and service portfolio, as business needs dictate .
  • Undertaking briefings to agencies or third parties for marketing collateral to support campaigns, events, promotions and sales activity .
  • Being able to work with a range of colleagues, assessing and prioritising their requests for support effectively, in line with business needs.
  • Reporting & analysis of campaign performance on a weekly basis, to ensure marketing effectiveness & drive performance.
Qualifications and skillsThe successful candidate will need to possess:
  • Strong knowledge and experience of digital marketing channels and tacticssuch as email, social, paid media, SEO, third party advertising and blogging
  • Experience of supporting with developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns & lead generation
  • Exceptional levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence in communicating with a range of teams, stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • Confidence and experience with learning new systems and platforms such as content management systems
  • Strong copywriting and proofing skills, as well as a good eye for creative and design
  • A positive and proactive attitude with results driven mindset, with the energy and resilience to make things happen.
  • A willingness to continue developing marketing knowledge and skills, in order to stay up-to date with the latest industry tools, tactics and developments
  • Experience of the HE Sector would be advantageous
  • Experience of B2B marketing campaigns would be advantageous
  • Experience of Pardot and Salesforce would be advantageous
