Job Description

Product Manager- Handforth- Up to £60k- Hybrid workingBased in Handforth, Manchester, our client uses one of the worlds most advanced real-time, 3D creation engines, to create the next-generation social and gamification platform. By leveraging this technology, they have created stunning visuals and a truly interactiveand immersive user experience.Due to incredible demand and growth, they are scaling up and looking to take on an experienced Product owner to:

  • Ensure that the product is valuable (customers choose to buy or use), viable (works within the many constraints of the business), useable, and feasible (our engineers have the skills and technology to implement).
  • Provide knowledge of various business constraints - marketing, sales, service, finance, legal, and privacy, to the product team.
  • Provide deep knowledge of our users and customers, and the data about how our customers engage with our products, to the product team.
  • Manage, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders using data and logic, in championing the product.
  • Work with the Head of Product for overall alignment and strategic fit taking into account business goals, product vision, product strategy, product principles, and market conditions.
  • Prioritising product backlog through a range of techniques to maximise value and return on investment.
  • Be user-focused, acting as the voice of all users during development and maintenance.
  • Define goals and metrics, monitoring performance against outcomes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive the discovery, design, development, and deployment of features and enhancements
You will have:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, User Researcher, Data Scientist, or Data analyst in a technology-powered product-centric organisation.
  • Demonstratable understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
  • Business acumen to understand the needs of customers, how technology can support the desired business
  • outcomes (such as finance, sales, and marketing), and the ability to explain sophisticated problems to stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and utilises an iterative method and flexible approach to enable rapid delivery.
  • Salary £50-£60,000 DOE
  • Hybrid working (2 days on site 3 days from home)
