Job Description

Are you looking for a part time position leading Finance in a small but evolving and growing Charity Are you looking to balance being hands-on with the detail while also having influence on strategic direction Are you able to keep a small Finance functionsteady at a critical time of yearMy client is a small charity in Hampshire with a strong investment portfolio ready to grow substantially over the coming years. For an interim period of an initial three to six months, the Interim Part Time Director of Finance will:

Manage the full finance function, overseeing a small team
Have full responsibility for all aspects of Finance including monthly reporting, creating year end schedules and delivering the financial statements
Be the key contact for external auditors
Support the Board and challenge the organisations assumptions, as well as be a critical friend to other department heads
Support on the charitys successful investment portfolio.

This would be an excellent position for someone either already established at Director level, or for someone seeking a step up. The role would be based in the Hampshire office at least once a week.Key criteria to meet before applying are:

Hold a full accountancy qualification
Have experience supporting Boards and Executive level staff
Have Charity sector experience along with experience influencing commercial endeavours.
