Job Description

Project Manager Sales Executive. Sales Account Manager. Regional Sales Executive. Business Development, Project ManagerGreat career opportunity for a Project Manager to develop their Business Development experience. These are just of the few attributes one of our favourite clients offers during the twelve years we have been recruiting for them.Our client is a leading manufacturer of solutions for the construction industry. They offer quality, cost effective work facilities, both "off the shelf" and bespoke, for use by the construction industry. Their clients included Tier 1 construction companies, sub-contractors, hire companies, Civil Engineers and small builders. The role is based on the outskirts of Bristol and will be manage the territory throughout the south west from Ludlow, Tewkesbury down to the New Forest and across Bristol and westwards.This is a highly interesting job for an experienced business development manager or sales executive, who has experience of field sales selling business to business solutions for the construction, manufacturing, facilities management, industrial sales, semi technical industries or similar. This requires a consultative style of selling as the company have a lot of repeat business that requires good quality relationship development skills.Suitable candidates should have experience of the following responsibilities:

  • Development of good quality business relationships with new and existing customers
  • Follow through on qualified leads supplied from the marketing department and the internal sales team as well as your own research
  • The ability to research new business opportunities
  • Use of a consultative style of selling to determine the customers individual business requirements
  • Preparation of detailed quotations, low level specifying and risk assessment.
  • Negotiate and close business opportunities working to agreed guidelines and price structure.
  • Continue on-going liaison with the client and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of contracts and repeat business
  • Report writing and sales figures
  • In return the company offer a salary up to £38k per annum based on experience plus 5-10% bonuses plus company car, 25 days holiday per annum pension scheme and other attractive benefits that include two pay rises per annum.
